Only some weeks now ago when I had the great day at your wunderful owl & hawk center. But for me it feels like months. It was such a great feeling flying the harris along the river through the trees and being part of the birds in the field show. Thank you for all!!

We had a lovely afternoon. Jackie thoroughly enjoyed herself, it is something she has wanted to do for ages. (Luckily!) She loved handling the birds and we all agreed that the setting couldn't have been more beautiful.

I would just like to say a few words about your lovely Bird of Prey centre. We visited there last Saturday, and really had a great day. I have visited Bird of Prey centres for the last 15 years or so, and have been to around 15 or 20. At your centre I saw no fewer than 7 birds which I had never seen fly before at a Bird of Prey centre. The falconers was it Rod and (Emma??) (not good with names?) had a great relationship with the birds and made the day feel special.

We came with our 14 year old son who also enjoyed the experience. We found the owls in the barn to be an amazing experience, to see those birds so closely was brilliant. Also as a wheelchair user, I appreciated the help given by opening the barn doors.

We then had a lovely lunch out in the garden, and whoever makes your sponges is a genius. Then sitting out in the sun watching the birds outside was again a brilliant experience. Then we had some more cake and a wheel round the aviary and I have loads of photos to prove what a lovely time we all had.

To manage to keep a teenage boy so occupied for that length of time is a feat in itself and as city dwellers from London it was a joy to sit in such peaceful and beautiful surroundings, with no sense of being hurried along, we really did feel totally rejuvenated after our visit.

If we know of anyone coming down your way on holiday we will definitely be recommending a visit to your establishment. Thank you once again for such a lovely day and best wishes to you all.

 Hi Cathy and Rod,
On Tuesday this week we came to the center for a full day Hawk and Owl Experience....and that it certainly was. We were welcomed with a very tasty cup of tea served to us by the very friendly Rachael.. and then met the other couple that were to be with us flying the birds, both charming people that we got on with well...a very good start.
We then were put in the very capable hands of Damien, a lovely friendly young man who showed such enthusiasm for the birds, he told us everything we needed to know, didn't rush us and made us feel very special.
I was very impressed at the conditions in which you keep your birds. the avaries were spotlessly clean and the birds were in very good conditon, I have , in the past, been to other centers which, quite honestly, were not up to much...so to see yours in such good surroundings made me very happy.
The day went so quickly, we flew so many birds, again more than I have ever flown on one day, even helped with the display to others that had come to see the birds...that made us feel very special.
This treat for me was for my 59th Birthday and I am still smiling about the wonderful day spent.
Most people like to write and complain about things, I on the other hand believe that praise should be given where it is deserved and young Damien certainly deserves it as does Rachael...both very friendly and professional in their approach , and a good asset to your business.

If I had to put in anything that I would suggest would make it easier for clients, it would be to make accessable a washing hand facility, in or near the display area, rather than having to trek round to the toilets, but on the other hand I did get to take a lovely picture of the donkeys playing with a bucket in the yard...so maybe thats an idea for the back burner..
We are already recommending your center to our friends and I hope they come to have an equally fantastic time

We will be coming back for more and wish you a very busy successful year ahead.

Thanks for a lovely day. Hi Cathy,just wanted to drop you a line to say thank you for the lovely day we had last Tuesday.We had a river & field experience and walked the alpacas in the afternoon.Your staff were lovely,especially the young man and lady who accompanied us on our experiences.

We would like to thank you for the most enjoyable day spent with you on 6th September. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were made to feel special. Coffee in the garden sat watching the tits eating the nuts followed by a walk with the alpaca's through some amazing surrounding area. Then meeting Dula and Hamish along with Bill and Ben, after which came the owl flying in the barn. The sense of elation when Safu lands on your hand (albeit for food) is wonderful (this was the bird we flew) and to watch him/her effortlessly take off to go to the other and come back again was amazing. We had lunch which was very nice and well presented (inside though shame about the weather). Damien then took us to the outside flying area where the rain held off just long enough for a spectacular flying display. We were a small audience which was better as Damien had time to tell us about the birds. We followed this with our Cream Teas (Tracey's first ever English cream tea as she is South African (sorry cream hot chocolate)) which rounded the day off perfectly. Your staff should be commended on the way they treat your guests and their handling of the animals. You will definately get favourable mention to anyone we know visiting Somerset and we will return to visit you again next year. Maybe we will stay with you for a night and watch Damien do the early morning flights.

I visited your centre last Thursday, we had 4 adults and a child in our party. There was something for us all to enjoy over several hours. I would especially like to thank your falconer, his love of working with the birds was a joy to watch. He also was happy to talk to us throughout his break, while Marley (blue and gold macaw!) performed at the same time. My wife being Jamaican and having a parrot on the porch as a child, enjoyed that.
