SPECIAL OCCASION GROUPS - STAG, HEN AND CELEBRATIONS

Celebrating a special Family occasion, birthday, reunion, marriage or anniversary, perhaps?

Our Special Occasion Family Day has to be a must do, particularly for your extended three generation families!   An exciting interactive day.  All set in delightful National Trust farmhouse setting, with wonderful gardens and tea rooms, and plenty to do for everyone.


We host many groups of stag, hen and family partieis for our falconry and animal activities.  If you are planning an interactive event for your celebratory party, please give us a ring to discuss a variety of fun and entertaining options.

 

You will be welcomed by our falconer, and taken to the flying grounds to fly owls and falcons especially for your group. Our birds will fly to all family members, young and young at heart. You will take part in an interactive flying display with more owls, hawks, buzzards, and you will enjoy the humourous activities of our palm nut vulture, Mwala.

 

Lunch will be provided in our farmhouse lounge or the landscaped gardens, and then you will take the alpacas for a walk across the local farmland and woodland. A dog or two may join you, and even a pony or a goat perhaps! to the sea views.
Following the walk you will have a personalised animal handling session, where our animal handlers will introduce you to the amazingly tame rabbits and guinea pigs, our snakes, lizards, tortoises, ferrets and parrots. Pony rides around the fields will also be available - any size pony for adults and children!

This will be followed by a cream tea and a celebration cake made to order, with teas, coffees, and drinks for the children. On cold winter days you will be able to warm up in front of the fire, and the Centre will be dedicated to you if your group exceedes 12. Special offer price of £80 per person, minimum group size 6 people

SENIOR CITIZENS GROUP VISITS

We welcome groups of senior citizens, children and those with special needs to join in and enjoy our activities
Simply visit as a day visitor, participate in the animal handling, and watch a flying display, then stay to enjoy a delicious farmhouse lunch, or cream tea.
Enjoy a flying visit with the birds in an interactive flying display, where you can fly the birds yourself. You can even do this still sitting down if you wish! Accompanied by a personalised animal handling session, especially for your group.

 

If you run a day care centre, or are down on holiday to the area, please give us a ring to discuss your group requirements. We can devise an alternative programme to suit your special group and day out.

GROUPS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

You may enjoy an interactive half day falconry with the birds. Very popular with groups of youngsters with learning or behavioural difficulties.

Or perhaps a personalised animal handling and an alpaca walk around the fields, again ideal for younger people. Or simply a visit to the Centre to enjoy animal handling, the flying display and a cream tea

Partially sighted groups will be given particular help with handling and 'hands-on' activities. Wheelchair users will be given particular help with flying the birds, even over the fields.
Anything is possible to make the day a really special one for all our visitors.
