OUR FARMHOUSE

front-door-web

West Lynch Farm is steeped in 15th Century history, a house that tells its own story.   If you are looking for a peaceful break, in an olde worlde farmhouse, eco-friendly, with activities and local natural history, then you will love a stay with us!

Macaw-in-Tea-Garden

Enjoy morning breakfast served in the garden for that Mediterranean feel!!  Here Milo is joining our guests!

We can offer you a reduced entry into the Owl & Hawk Centre only £7.50 when you stay with us - pay only once and visit as often as you like for the duration of your stay!!  The Centre opens at 12 noon, when we can serve sandwiches and baguettes, cakes and cream teas, and the Afternoon with the Birds Display is at 2pm.  If you are on a one night stay you may wander around the Owl Garden for FREE after breakfast.  Please do not walk around the Centre when it is closed for health and safety reasons.

We have dogs of our own, and love taking them away on holiday with us, so yours are welcome to stay with us too.  We have a few simple doggie rules for the benefit of our birds and animals and our other guests.  They are allowed to sleep in your room with you - it is their holiday too and we want them to feel at home. £5 per night per dog.

Features in the Property!

The farmhouse was probably originally the Manor of Bossington, and has many fascinating historical features, including the open-hall house design of the medieval period.  Built around 1456, roughly at the same time as the Chapel of Ease on the same ground, with reclaimation and restoration through every century since, the house shows a great deal of charm and character.
